We connect people with always-on digital tools, weekly online forums, and real-world partners so recovery is supported at every stage, not just during crisis.

Last Updated: March 4, 2026

Welcome to Recovery Without Borders (“RWOB”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, online forums, events, and any other services we make available (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

Educational content and resources

Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the Services.

Use the Services to advertise or solicit without our prior written consent (e.g., spam, aggressive marketing, recruitment for unrelated programs).

We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to remove or restrict content or access that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or harms the safety or integrity of the community.

4. Community Guidelines & Events

Our forums and events are intended to be supportive, respectful, and action-oriented spaces.

By participating in any RWOB events or online spaces, you agree to:

Respect the anonymity and confidentiality of other participants.

Avoid sharing personally identifiable or sensitive information about others without their explicit consent.

Use your discretion when sharing your own personal or sensitive information.

Follow any additional guidelines announced at specific events (e.g., recording policies, Q&A rules).

We may mute, remove, or refuse participation to anyone who violates community guidelines, disrupts the experience, or creates an unsafe environment.

5. External Platforms (e.g., OpenRecovery)

Our Services may include links to or integrations with third-party platforms such as OpenRecovery.com and other tools or websites.

These platforms are operated independently and have their own terms of service and privacy policies.

When you use those platforms, you are subject to their terms, not ours.

We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services you choose to use.

6. Information and Content – No Professional Advice

It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

Speakers and contributors share their own views and experiences; these do not necessarily reflect the official position of RWOB.

You are responsible for how you choose to use or act on any information provided.

Always consult appropriate professionals before making decisions about your health, finances, legal matters, or other significant areas of life.

7. User Content

You may have opportunities to submit, share, or display content (for example, in chats, Q&A, feedback forms, or testimonials) (“User Content”).

By submitting User Content, you:

Represent that you have the right to share that content.

Grant RWOB a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, and display the content in connection with operating and improving the Services (for example, to review feedback, improve events, or create anonymized summaries).

Agree not to submit content that violates the rights of others or applicable law.

We may remove or refuse any User Content that we consider inappropriate, unsafe, or in violation of these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All materials on our website and within our Services—including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and other content created by RWOB—are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and other laws.

You may:
